Ok, your MSN is not working, so you use Web Messenger instead. It does work but it opens up many windows when you initiate multiple chats. Worse, you can use only IE browser! Koala Express shows you a nifty alternative to MSN when MSN itself is not available to you.

Using MessengerFX
Ok, your MSN is not working. So you use Web Messenger instead. It does work but it opens up many windows when you initiate multiple chats. Worse, you can use only IE browser! Would you like it opened on the same window?

No, I'm not talking about the MSN Web Messenger. It's MessengerFX. Cool eh? It's web based. Thus, no installation required.

Here I show you how. It works on any browser. It does not blink when someone sends you a chat message when you are not on that window. But if you're using Firefox, the tab will show you updated messages when you're on the other tab. The small chat window will move a bit when you receive messages and when you are on the MessengerFX window.

Easy Steps
1. Open up your browser and go to http://www7.messengerfx.com
2. Sign in with your Hotmail or MSN account.
3. On your right, it shows who's online and offline.
4. If you click on anyone who's online, it expands, giving you options to Message, Block and Remove. They're self explanatory. No need for me to go into details here.

Easy enough?. Piece of cake. You can move your chat window anywhere within the screen. You can't have your personalised emoticons here though. You can't send messages to offline people. Happy experimenting and chatting!
